How it all began........
October 2005, I had just walked into the local watering hole after riding back from Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach. George, who couldn’t make it to Biketoberfest, walks up and says….”Friar John, Lets ride to Sturgis this year”
I looked at George like he was crazy. My rear was still sore from our ride to Daytona and he wants me to agree to Sturgis. Hell, I’m too old for that…Next Day he was still talking about it… After a few beers and more big tales we agreed.. It was this year or probably never….
Sturgis 66th Annual Motor Rally.. here we come……..
American Bison can be seen in the Sturgis area. The Lakota (Sioux) call this symbol of the Plains, "Tatanka".
